wpf - How do I determine if MediaElement is playing? -


seems simple enough, cannot figure out way determine state of mediaelement is. there various properties states (such isbuffering) can't find states such play, pause, etc. silverlight seems have currentstate property shows these.

currently way i'm determining whether video supposed playing watching various events , timer checks see if progress being made.

i'm new mediaelement , wpf (i'm using mediaelement in winforms app). there missing?

you aren't missing anything. pretty have manually keep track of whether or not media playing. it's pity, since easy in silverlight, mention. seems major oversight me.
