ruby on rails - Moving on from Merb - where can I find a home? -


i moved application off of rails in 2009 because didn't need or want of features in framework (orm, mvc etc) , didn't large footprint generating (200mb). merb-core has been great home our application i'm wondering if should move elsewhere merb & rails have merged.

does have advice on following questions?

  • should stay on merb?

  • given desire minimal footprint, there point trying reimplement app on rails 3.x?

  • i have experience thin , rack use enough merb features port wouldn't painless - worth going 'down' bare rack?

thanks, appreciate of these subjective hope there enough people have used merb , have faced same questions.

just aside, last question here merb 4 months ago.

i have couple of production apps running sinatra. it's light-weight , pleasure work with.
