windows - When choosing an installer, should I require an MSI file? -


i'm evaluating number of windows installer tools our application. of them create .msi files, of them create .exes.

i'm keeping times, should make requirement of app choose able create .msi file? there reason require on simple installer .exe?

our software isn't intended corporate deployment, don't need msi (for unattended installs etc). if we're going skip msi, want know advantages i'd missing out on.
