Data Caching in ASP.NET -


we store location information in table. numbers of records on 4 thousand. table structure self-recursive. in our web project, use dropdownlist control populate these locations. got performance slow problem. googling caching, consider use data caching sql dependency. however, not found yet full-covered sample in .net 2.0 , sql server 2005 or 2008. please share me.
