java - Is there such a thing as JDK incremental upgrades? -


i can not find way incremental jdk upgrades. such things useful me , great pain saver compared downloading entire jdk on again (70+ mb) uninstalling old jdk version , installing new one.

is there missing?

afaik there no incremental upgrade oracle ("standard") jdk distribution.

the jre since java 6 has minimal local instalation loads more libs when requiered.

this distribution model of sun, install last 1 , leave old 1 disabled. time time user must uninstall old versions free space.
