CSS: expression ( use percentage & pixels to calculate ) -


i want set width of div like

( 100% - 10px )

using css expression have been failing can tell me answer that

you can't unfortunatly, , can annoying because run instances great.

you can use javascript work out pixel widths of elements, gets messy , complicated manage quickly.

my recommendation go drawing board , redesign layout work around issue.

if post specific examples might able help.
