Sharepoint 2010 does not allow anonymous users to see pictures from an image library -


so have public facing sharepoint 2010 site. have enabled anonymous users on farm on site.

the site displays perfect if log in, anonymous user not display of pictures image library. (all text come through fine).

if attempt access image library directly, (a url pointing image inside library) 401 error.

i have attempted adjust permissions on library itself, still cannot pictures display.

has experienced similar?

if site , rest of list/libraries accessible anonymous users, security of images library has been overridden. make sure images library inheriting permissions of parent site has anonymous access enabled.

also, turn off versioning in images library if turned on.
