build process - Documentation - Describing the Flow -


i have various documents large small, have draw form of model describe how user interacts each document when following them build. example, user might.

follow document 1 section 10 pointed document 2 complete return section 10 in document 1 etc.

has ever drawn sort of chart demonstrate kind of thing documentation, standard systems have never done regarding documentation , wondering if there formal method of doing documentation , there examples or standard guides follow.

i think use activity diagram swimlanes each document.

an alternative idef0 diagram(may appropriate if there instructions completing each document, and/or different roles different steps)
