how to bring a file from a url and store it in a variable in javascript(EXTjs)? -


how bring file url , store in variable?

using text fields, such follows:

new ext.form.textfield({            disabled: false,                         fieldlabel: "url",                         value:'',    id:"url1"    }));

a user inserts url in respective fields, need save file on url in temporary variable.

the url point anything, html, xml, plain text, or binary data. if more specific url contain maybe can give more specific answer.
