device - Developing an API for a USB connected Glucometer -


i have relion glucometer can connected windows pc via usb. glucometer details here. have never tried this, can point me in right direction go connecting usb device (c# or delphi) , pulling data it? want download current test result , save off database build log of test history. diabetic , hate doing tests everyday, realized if can leverage necessary evil learning how work usb connected device, @ least can pleasure in knowing made out of this.

has done or similar? know there website can join , have ocx this.. don't want put info/data on site, plus misses point - want challenge of doing this.

any advice - directions start appreciated.

i begin looking @ usb device driver comes software, inf file. hid or specific usb chipset, etc? relevant development kit/info take there.
