HTTP 504 Errors in SharePoint -


i have users experiencing http 504 errors in sharepoint. occurring when connect actual sharepoint site. internet explorer displaying generic error message captured more detailed error through fiddler. result this:

readresponse() failed: server did not return response request.

the user can either wait few minutes or refresh page few times function again. has else experienced this?

http 504 gateway timeout:

the server, while acting gateway or proxy, did not receive timely response upstream server specified uri (e.g. http, ftp, ldap) or other auxiliary server (e.g. dns) needed access in attempting complete request.

looks connectivity problem me, dns. nothing software. might have better luck on serverfault.
