antivirus - NSIS Installer slow on machine with Microsoft Security Essentials -

so i've got issue our nsis installers slow down heaps when installing on top of existing installation?

it seems directly related microsoft's security essentials , turning off runtime checking causes go away, i've never encountered similar other installers - there known issue here or should doing things differently avoid kind of thing?

to give idea how slow.. each .exe takes 10-15 seconds unpack on clean machine or security essentials turned off takes second or 2 - , on top of line core i7 12gb of ram.

only thing can think of copy exe temporary file , move on afterwards, seems bit clunky.

you're gonna hate me.

if you're competent, lose antivirus.

antivirus needed unable keep machines getting infected without it.

i ran antivirus years, , had legitimately trip once, on 6 month old backup of mail folder. what's weird sat 6 months before antivirus caught it. in meantime, tripped many times on false positives.

i don't run antivirus anymore , glad if never ran again.
