.net - Simplified 'Getting Started' for a small Prism application -


i test waters little bit converting simple wpf application prism based application. can give me basic +- 5 step getting started process - conceptual steps need, , required reading details. seems developers guide offers detail choose from. after hours can go , serious reading, right basic 'getting started' guide.

have downloaded prism library? if not, download here first.

once you've prism on harddisk, can start reading composite application guidance wpf , silverlight.chm find in prism folder.

i recommend read first section "quick starts" explains in brief need know beginner. section explains various techniques used develop composite application. explain each technique, demonstrates concept using 2 sample projects (one in wpf, other in silverlight). once finish reading section , understand sample projects (even incompletely), can start reading other section, such "technical concepts" explains same techniques you've read in "quick starts" but in great details.

after reading these 2 sections, think, know prism well. , don't forget experimemt examples given in "quick starts". don't worry if don't understand @ first attempt. read again, experiments, , gradually understanding better , better. took me 1 week understand complete philosophy of prism. have patience! :-)
