iPhone: I resize a contact's image, but when that person is calling, the picture isn't scaled to the screen size -


we have app resizes iphone contact pictures , saves them in address book.

when jim has normal 1200 x 1600 picture, , calling phone, picture gets correctly scaled within iphone screen shows whole picture.

when resize image 320 x 420-something, , save in address book, picture no longer gets scaled, gets 'blown up' see center of picture.

is has experienced before? coding error, or bug in iphone?

apparently bug in iphone. lot of users have experienced when picture gets updated through api, won't scale correctly.

i ended resizing pictures small enough displayed in top right corner of screen, instead of expecting them resized when calling.
