Is there a way to automate fixing missing parens in Emacs? M-x fix-parens? -


updated following dirk's suggestion

after finding out emacs' check-parens , show-parens modes in previous question, value of fix-missing-parens mode, comment raised point nice automate process of finding , adding missing or parens.

is there way automate fixing such mismatched parens?

mark region , call m-x indent-region -- indent code comprises parens (and more).
