simulation - Simulating fire with SPH particles -
i want simulate fire using sph particles. understand concept behind sph don't understand yet how model fire fluid.
- do have add temperature property particles can derive there color?
- do have take surrounding air particles in account create buoyancy effect?
- where particles heat from? have add heat emitter on space creates warm particles temperature diffuses other particles on time?
- are there tutorials describe problem?
- yes, you'll have have temperature property. isn't fire if temperature isn't involved. , once have temperature it's easy luminosity , color. (you don't have worry radiative heat transfer, @ least not first effort.)
- if handle pressure , gravity right, buoyancy arise (ahem) naturally.
- you can start fixed heating element , inert gas, when you're ready can introduce combustion differential equation: rate of energy generation function of temperature, fuel pressure , oxygen pressure.
