sql server - regarding ms sql data type -


i got column in wanna store date formats dd/mm/yy, mm/dd/yy , etc. data type need use column in table ? datetime??

oh , if want store time format 24.00 hrs..what data type ?

i need store formats mm/dd/yy or dd/mm/yy not dates 2010-12-01 or whatever..so should use datetime ?

store dates datetime or timestamp or of built-in date or date/time datatypes. don't worry formatting value in db itself. can format date using language of choice (whatever language you're using retrieve information).
