audio - Chord detection algorithms? -


i developing software depends on musical chords detection. know algorithms pitch detection, techniques based on cepstral analysis or autocorrelation, focused on monophonic material recognition. need work polyphonic recognition, is, multiple pitches @ same time, in chord; know studies or solutions on matter?

i developing algorithms based on fft, if has idea on algorithms or techniques can use, of great help.

this quite open source project: https://patterns.enm.bris.ac.uk/hpa-software-package

it detects chords based on chromagram - solution, breaks down window of whole spectrum onto array of pitch classes (size: 12) float values. then, chords can detected hidden markov model.

.. should provide need. :)
