Name the root directory of project generated with Maven Archetype -


how can control name of top directory of maven module created maven archetype? creates new folder named$artifactid. or more directly, there way archetype can create folder named after module's artifactid, dashes replaced underscores?

the naming convention artifactid's use dashes (hyphens). don't think there way make module's directory named other artifactid. being said, onlvy convention, not requirement, module named same artifactid. means after project generated, change either artifactid or module folder name or both whatever want.
