What is Weblogic's frontend host property used for? -


it unclear when useful set "frontend host" setting in weblogic 11g. can please tell me why should set this? have load balancer in front of weblogic mask ip address. when use it? setting do? documentation doesnt provide clarity here.

"frontend host" of weblogic used when there no load balancer used weblogic cluster, in case without load balancer ip , port can assign ip , port of address work exposed url clients.
