why do you copy the SQLite DB before using it? -


everything have read far, seems though copy db assets "working directory" before used. if have existing sqlite db put in assets. have copy before used.

does know why case?

i can see possible application that, 1 doesn't want accidentally corrupt database during write. in case, 1 have move database when it's done working on it, otherwise, next time program run start "default" database state.

that might use case - might want start program execution known data state. previous state might set external application.
