privacy - is it against google analytic's terms of service to send data to google to identify visitors? -

i'm using google event tracking on our website, , send email address used in our newsletter subscription form in event tracking call can see events visitors have completed on our site.

is allowed google's terms of service? remember reading somewhere not allowed, can't find reference anymore.

if against google's tos, should store unique key email address on our server instead , send key in event tracker?

thanks!

this absolutely restricted their terms of service. cannot store identifiable information. storing unique key seen violating rule.
