Calendar similar to ical, which supports reminders without opening software -


i looking calendar software light on memory , cpu usage, ical, on windows. want reminders of appointments/tasks @ os level... meant should able reminded without opening software, ical does...

i tried microsoft outlook 2010, works when open outlook way, use windows 7

i think vueminder calendar lite you're looking for. loads background process when windows starts, , provide reminders without needing opened.

on system, uses around 8 mb of ram , process lasso shows average cpu usage on several hours one-tenth of 1 percent when it's running in background.
