Google chrome frame - how does it work? -


i'm looking chrome frame , i'm wondering how works.... http://scriptsrc.net shows it's javascript can embedded on page....

http://code.google.com/chrome/chromeframe/ shows install file... js prompt installation or something?

the javascript detect , enable if it's there. (scriptsrc giving link file, on google cdn.) end user have one-time install of it, it's plug-in (like flash or java). quoting this page in google documentation:

in internet explorer, check() determines if chrome frame installed. if not, user prompted install it.
