html5 - Crossbrowser media player -


is there media player solution play audio , video files in firefox,chrome, safari , ie.
i've tried mediaelementjs fails on .mov. project has clients uploading movie file , there can 1 version of each file. can programatically change code each type of file , user's os/browser still couldnt .mov's download progressively.
missing here? i'm not familiar media file types. wondering if had suggestions.

take @ jw player. it's highly configurable. best combination real streaming server provider. if want let clients switch different positions in media files might best work "normalize" different media types 1 format (converting them after upload) - .flv/flash - , focus on 1 player above. files streamed modules webservers nginx or lighttpd - real provider bits on run convert of files , handle streaming more reliably.
