struts - Session tracking with cookies turned off and url should not have session id -


i working in struts , jsp. need keep cookies turned off need multi-tab browser support. solution required hide session id in url , still keep track of session. please note cookies have turned off , session id has avoided in url. in advance.

the java servlet api allows 2 mechanisms track sessions: cookies , url rewriting. have pick 1 or other.
