soap - Python JIRA SOAPpy annoying redirect on findIssue -


i trying wsdl soap connection our jira server using soappy (python soap library).

all seems fine except when try finding specific issues. through web browser looking bug id redirects bug (with different id), bug in question moved different project.

attempts getissue via soappy api results in exception issue not exist.

any way around this?

yes, there's existing bug on i've seen. use jira issue id instead of key locate it, workaround.
