Sybase - Windows 7 -


moving xp windows 7 client side.

running couple issues sybase 15.

1) "interactive sql" - many widgets in ie options defective or missing

2) when running simple query swing/avt widget exception error.

anyone ran or worked thru issues moving 7?

other versions of windows app, not 7. may aware 7 more reliable vista.

those messages classically due (a) sybase client (sybasecentral; interactivesql, gui utilities) using java vm , (b) not being successfuly installed.

get sybase client cd, , install again. not customise, use default installation options. watch progress errors. ensure jvm installation succeeds. may have retrieve missing files windows 7 cd.

otherwise open support case.
