localization - Looking for a list of all available languages in iOS -


i've been searching net, don't seem able find comprehensive list of languages available on iphone, ipod , ipad mobile devices (one list all, or separate lists if different)

when go thru selection on iphone settings > general > international > language recognise of them, not all. example there seems 33 different languages in ios 4.2.1

can please pointing me list ? or perhaps how make 1 myself.

there no definite published list (as far know), simple reason locales list might change in minor version updates.

the closes such list language support section of iphone technical specs:
- iphone 4
- iphone 3gs
- iphone 3g
- iphone 2 missing section

if want definitive list of languages , locales supported specific ios version, should write simple program uses nslocale::availablelocaleidentifiers obtain list, , nslocale::componentsfromlocaleidentifier: extract canonical codes (or corresponding cflocale).
