c# - Consideration of points while started to build some open source applications -


there lot of open-source application available in these days provide various things blogging, cms, own branded application etc.

like blogs : -subtext -wordpress -joomla -drupal etc.

now, need of suggestions points taken in consideration while starting develop open source application provides blogging wordpress or subtext.

as told there ar elot of open source application available in world. but, want develop 1 in asp.net/c#.

so, please suggest me views. words appreciated!

i give couple of pieces of advice on this. first, keep simple. @ lease start. make blog allows posts , comments. shouldn't crazy, pretty sure examples can found.

second, pick tech stack. maybe use project branch out. encourage implement using modern web standards (i.e. javascript, css, etc..) , server side, use fubumvc or asp.net mvc build out routes , views. either 1 of frameworks there samples available database connectivity through orm.
