Regex on ;) smilie -

a minor inconvenience users have found if use smilie such >_> @ end of parentheses (kind of this: >_>) during processing run through htmlspecialchars(), making >_>) - can see problem, think. ;) @ end replaced "wink" smilie.

can give me regex replace ;) smilie, if ; not end of html entity? (i'm sure involve lookbehind can't seem understand how use them >_>)

thank you!

handling smileys ;) bit tricky - way transform "canonical" before encoding html entities, , changing canonical-form :{smileyname}: smileys afterwards.
