biztalk - ESB Management Console (ESB Toolkit 2.1) not showing data -


i installed esb toolkit 2.1 on top of biztalk 2010.

everything seems work fine. created sample app following peter kelcey's "biztalk esb toolkit 2.0--part 1: dynamic routing , uddi integration" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/biztalk/ee819071.aspx).

the message fails, problem don't see in esb management portal (or in bam portal, in itinerary view).

i don't have exception or anything, no data.

i checked esbexceptiondb database in sql server. , connection strings in portal web.config seem ok.

i must installed portal from samples source, rebuilding solution , verifying configurations in iis per documentation.

update on this:

i saw couldn't access esb.exception.service app either vs or browsing iis rebuilt , republished esb.exception.service app. localhost/esb.exceptions.service/ responds properly.

also, used sample test app calls localhost/esb.exceptionhandlingservices/exceptionhandling.asmx , able write database.

the esb portal shows fault data now.

basically rebuilding fixed it, don't know wrong start with.
