SharePoint like functionality for Office Documents -


we have document library built inhouse. migrating sharepoint 2010 document library, time consuming process , many old documents may not moved sharepoint @ all. provide same experience our users when open document sharepoint or our legacy system. behavior like when open workbook or document rendered in browser using "open in excel" , "open in word" button when open document stored in share point document library.

i not sure technology called or start looking configure or integrate addin.

any starting points appreciated.

i'm not clear on question is, perhaps looking use office web apps. allows use office applications within browser.
